What:
Morning Session
BC Brian McNulty (BC Battalion 1), Lieutenant Ben Baus (R1) and Firefighter Dan Holdmann (R2) will host a joint presentation on the individual commitment and team effort required to build high functioning teams. Success is often viewed as originating from the top, but frequently we find it’s a bottom-up approach that fosters the greatest results. The presentation will focus on the key components of a company’s success from the viewpoint of a company commander, rescue company officer and rescue company firefighter. Brian, Ben and Dan will draw from their shared and individual experiences as they share with you what they believe to be the best way to develop yourself, and those around you to perform under pressure at fires and emergencies.
